Asking for cash as a wedding present? - wedding thank you rhymes

Hello to all! I know your views on this point so young, with wedding invitations from several persons, all in search of cash as a gift (usually in the form of a poem strange) has been flooded.
I personally think it is something very rude and do in bad taste. This raises the question of how much money should be given. I would be ashamed if they are not big enough contribution in comparison to others and I prefer a gift that no one knows, give, how much they cost.

At Christmas this year
I ask not for profit
I have so many toys

because they have no sense
